Ava Kenny-Colwell is Regulation & Compliance Manager at the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT), where she provides regulatory and compliance guidance to businesses across the apparel, product, and textile industry.
Her work covers a broad range of UK, EU and international legislation, including product safety, textile labelling, packaging regulations, chemicals and restricted substances, sustainability and circular economy legislation, EPR, supply chain due diligence, and import and export requirements.
Ava works closely with industry, government bodies and European stakeholders to monitor regulatory developments, contribute to policy discussions and support policymakers in developing legislation that is both effective in achieving its intended objectives and practical for businesses to implement.
