About me
Brian Barber is the Director of Product Engineering at Zippo Manufacturing Company, where he leads a multi-discipline engineering team responsible for the design, development and manufacturing of flame and heat generating consumer products. Over the last 22 years, Brian has developed a wide breadth of knowledge and experience across diverse product lines, with a focus on product safety and compliance. Leveraging his industry expertise, Brian helps shape international safety standards as the ASTM Sub Committee Chair for F15.02 – Lighters, and as a key technical expert within ISO/TC 61/SC 4/WG10.
