With over 25 years of experience as a lawyer, Eva Schothorst-Gransier is a recognized authority and Global Leader in (product) liability and insurance law.
Eva's core competencies include defending clients in complex, often media-sensitive and/or cross-border cases involving product liability (including B2B disputes about non-conformity), employers liability, and insurance disputes. She not only handles claims, but also has extensive experience as a crisis response manager, guiding clients who face investigations by regulatory authorities. She also advises and litigates on policy coverage, both in court and before the Financial Services Complaints Institute. She assists clients with product recalls, from cosmetics to gas valves, and helps them comply with reporting obligations in domestic and foreign jurisdictions.
She is recommended as an expert in the Legal500, Who's Who Legal Product Liability Defense and Who's Who Legal Insurance & Reinsurance, as well as a selected member of the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).
